I'm throwing it back to when I wore this 1980s and 1990s inspired look. What can I say, I'm a 90s kids in love with the 80s charm. I think my love stems from the music and movies of the 80s. The uniqueness it brought to the world, mostly in the American culture, is still a source of inspiration in these modern times. I love the look of the 80s and 90s and I quite often recreate my outfits in dedication to these two decades. Something about strips, high-waisted acid-wash jeans, colorful sunglasses, and big hair make me feel really cool. My inner Jessie Spano (from Saved by the Bell) was so ready for this.
My v-neck striped sweater is from Gap but a similar one can be found at 6pm.com. A similar pair of the high-wasted acid-wash jeans can be found at Topshop. The glasses are from a Color Me Rad 5-K run, the gold bangle was a gift, and the leather flats are from Earth Origins.
