You've heard of "Power Suits," most commonly worn by women working in corporate positions or other levels of authority in the business world. I'd like to introduce you to the "Power Dress." This LRD, little red dress, basically defines simple and elegant. It's so versatile that it can be worn for a business type work, as a brunch date look, and for a wedding guest.
I got this dress from Marshalls about 2 years ago and it still fits so well and with different accessories.
The business type look of this dress includes a black blazer, nude heels, and either a red purse or a black purse that's big enough to carry paperwork. I have the same outfit on in both pictures, I just switched out my purses because I wanted to look like a very put together business person. It's perfect for an interview or another day at the office.
I know that a lot of college students don't have the means to buy purses, so what I love about this is that it most definitely doesn't have to be a designer purse to make this outfit look great.
This look is also great for a brunch date or a simple party look. I only have on the dress, my nude heels (which can be switched out with wedges), and a black tote bag.
The last look is the wedding guest. Short dresses are the most comfortable to wear to a wedding. This dress is such a great color and form fitting. I decided to put my hair up and wear some statement earrings. I kept my shoes the same and switched my purse with my favorite nude clutch.
This dress really is great for many looks. I hope my readers enjoyed, there are more posts to come.
