Being Nigerian and being absolutely in love with Ankara prints and clothing, I thought it was very necessary for me to include a feature on one of my favorite dresses that I own. This green, glittery gold, and white dress was inspired by a black and white patterned dress I spotted on Instagram. I got really lucky with the fabric because when I had gone to the Downtown LA Fashion District, I found it in a store and it was down to the last few yards left. What I really like about this dress is its color scheme. The shade of green and the white in the details of the fabric are the same colors as the Nigerian flag, and it has accents of shimmery gold. It makes a gorgeous short dress for the Summer and Spring and I would have loved to make it into a gown but the last of the fabric is not enough to make what I envision. If I ever find any fabric similar to this, my readers might be seeing a full length gown in the near future. Green, gold, and white Ankara dress- Tailored for me
