Looks for Light and Dark Floral Prints
Hello and a welcome to a brand new month! To me, the month of May especially fells like Spring time (other than around Easter) because of Mother's Day and the much warmer weather. Also, happy belated Mother's Day to all the amazing mommas out there! You do so much with grace, beauty, intelligence, and tensity; so thank you.
Today, I am bringing you all two simple floral Spring looks that I have worn in the past. These are comfortable and versatile styles for light and dark floral prints. Note that these include affiliate links which this blog receives a very small commission from. These brands are not paying me to post specific products, these are the same and similarly related clothes to what I own.
Light Floral Maxi
Maxi dresses are one of the easiest clothes to dress for any occasion and look effortlessly put together. In this look, I paired my most worn white maxi dress with a light wash denim jacket and berry colored lip. When we are allowed back outside, this simple two item look can be worn to church, brunch, shopping, a picnic, on the boardwalk and for a nice dinner; you can switch out the denim jacket for a light colored tailored jacket and add wedges. Sans the denim jacket, I would wear this while watching Netflix.
Dark Floral Blouse
Sheer blouses are great a breathable piece for the Spring and Summer, especially in hot cities like LA. In this poolside casual look: I tied a floral black sheer blouse over a black bikini top and added light weight high-wasted black shorts with black sandals. You don't have to wear as much black as I did but this was for a slightly upscale pool party that I attended. Once it is safe to do so, this can be worn to a pool party, day party, lunch at a beach-side hotel and of course you can make it more upscale by adding heels, tucking in the blouse, and adding statement jewelry. For right now, I plan to wear this while chilling in backyard.
